A HALLOWEEN AVALANCHE EXPERIMENT…I LIKE IT!

CONNIE’S AVALANCHES PUMPKIN CUT OUTS!

Hey Y’all,

Check this out!   I made some avalanches for Halloween with fall colored M&M’s.   I spread them out (thinner than the regular avalanche) on cookie sheet lined with heavy duty aluminum foil.

I got this idea when cutting out my sugar cookies with the pumpkin cutter.   Why not try this on a “thinner” avalanche for Halloween.

Voila!   It worked!   They’re a little tricky to get out of the pumpkin cookie cutter; so, be careful that the little top part of the pumpkin doesn’t break off!  Yep – happened to me!

I melted some white chocolate Ghiradelli wafers and dipped the bottom half of the pumpkin cut out.   Set them on a wire rack (on top of a piece of wax paper) and let them drip.

They turned out great AND delicious!  Let your imagination go crazy when doing this.  You may want to dip the whole thing and decorate with eyes, etc.

Please let me know if you gave it a try!  Would love to see your pics!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, Y’ALL!
