Hey y’all,
Do we have a treat for you this week! Colt & Rachel have been dear friends since they moved in next door to us over 8 years ago. We’ve both since moved but just a few houses away. They are like family to us and a growing one at that. They’ve been blessed with 3 beautiful children: Sloane, Brooke and Judd, who arrived last summer!
Although Bill & I are a wee bit older, we have a lot in common…Faith, Family & Food! Colt loves to hunt & grill and we’ve loved sampling his tasty meats over the years. Rachel & Colt love truffles and desserts, so lots of food sharing between us.
We had so much fun rolling out the sugar cut-out cookies with Sloane & Brooke. See the video for Sugar Cut Out Cookies here!
Under Colt & Rachel’s expert coaching, Sloane & Brooke decorated heart shaped cookies like pros. They mastered the icing in no time and topped it off with lots of sprinkles . . . the kind that sticks to your fingers.
Colt reminded us that “TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK” and that was certainly the case with the McCoy Family Valentine cookie video. The best part was taste testing these delicious & beautiful cookies. Next time, Judd!
